Truro Team Players Fun Tournament

The evening of Tuesday 12 September saw all six courts full with quality tennis as both men and ladies team players celebrated the end of the season with a fun and social American style tournament.

As organised by club coach Ryan, 12 ladies and 12 men played mixed doubles changing courts and partners every 20 minutes. Supper followed contributed by the ladies whilst the men paid for the drinks. The battle for the washing up was settled when Social Secretary Sue Hall fired some left over quiz spot questions at 'non-caterers' only - an incorrect answer resulting in kitchen hand duties being awarded for the evening!

Very well done to Clare Hudson who won most games in the ladies' section and to runner up Sophie Weedon. Congrats also to Adam Jarvis who won the men's section by a large margin and to runner up Mark Stubbs.

The Chairman, Paul Taylor, declared the bar 'open' for the evening as there was much to celebrate with both the Mens and Ladies 'A' teams having won their respective premier leagues.
