2007 Chris Harrison Junior Tournament

Despite the threat of rain, play started on schedule on 12 August 2007. Entries were up, with a staggering 140 + children from all across the country as far afield as Nottinghamshire.

The standard was exceptional, with spectators enjoying great play in all age groups from Under 10s to Under 18s singles and doubles events, with play on many days continuing into the evening.

Cornwall was well represented in all age groups and, despite the high standard from visiting counties, made their mark with Truro Tennis Club juniors coached by Ryan Fern in most of the Semi Finals and Finals.

In all 244 matches were played over the 6 days and Truro LTC would like to thank all those who took part with particular thanks going to our sponsor Chris Harrison.
