Tournaments and matches are a very important and enjoyable part of tennis. They provide a great opportunity to try the things you have learnt, and also the chance to test yourself against other players of your standard. If you want to take part, please speak to Ryan. Among those at Truro are:
American Tournaments have become a popular fixture on the first Saturday afternoon of every month, but entry to each event is strictly limited to the first 24 to sign up and pay their entry fee - so look out for the notice on the board!
2011 was another very successful year for Truro's teams:
The Men's A was third In the Premier League. The Men's D was fourth In Division 1 West, and the Men's E was first In Division 2 Central, and so was promoted. The Men's F was fourth In Division 2 Central.
The Ladies' A was first In the Premier League, and the Ladies' C was first st In County One, and was promoted as was the Ladies' D which was first In Division 1 West. The Ladies' E was fourth In Division 2 East, and the Ladies' F was fifth In Division 2 East.
The Mortan Nance Cup Winners were from Truro, as were the Holman Cup Runners Up and the Booth Cup Semi-Final Losers.
