Tournaments at Truro Lawn Tennis Club

Tournaments and matches are a very important and enjoyable part of tennis. They provide a great opportunity to try the things you have learnt, and also the chance to test yourself against other players of your standard. If you want to take part, please speak to Ryan. Among those at Truro are:

American Tournaments have become a popular fixture on the first Saturday afternoon of every month, but entry to each event is strictly limited to the first 24 to sign up and pay their entry fee - so look out for the notice on the board!

2009 was another very successful year for Truro's teams:

The Ladies A team won the Premier League, the Ladies B were second, the ladies C remain in the Premier League, and ladies D finished botttom of Div 1 West. The Morton Nance Cup for Ladies doubles was won by Truro and the Booth Cup for Mixed Doubles was also won by Truro.

The Mens A team won the Premier League, the B team was promoted to the Premier League from Division 1, and the Mens E team finished second in Division 2 and was promoted to Division 1.
