Truro Lawn Tennis Club Mens match results

Sunday 17 September The pairing of Adam Jarvis and Simon Phillips won the Holman Cup, coming back from a 3-1 deficit in the third to win in three sets against Penzance.

The men's team won the National Club League play-off against Dorchester and will play in the regional division next season. After the singles rubbers, the score was 2-2, promising a tight round of doubles. However, the team performed brilliantly to take each of the rubbers 6-1, 6-2 thereby winning the match four rubbers to two.

This has been a very successful season for us. Apart from the club winning all of the men's competitions in the county, our members won all of the main draw county titles on offer at the County Hard Court championships in August.

During July the Mens C Team beat Bodmin B 10-4 and drew 6-6 with Wadebridge B, and now has 40 points from 8 games with two difficult matches to come this week. A mid-place finish will ensure Division 1 tennis next year.

Wednesday 12 July Mens B beat Falmouth 7-5.

Sunday 18 June Truro Mens A beat St Austell 10-0.
